When using, first inflate the cushion and then lay it flat, place the wounded person in the cushion, draw out the air in the bag, the air cushion can become hard, and at the same time, the wounded person is firmly fixed in it, and can always remain stable during transportation.

Also called “Stoke Basket”, there are two common types on the market: aluminum alloy type; synthetic resin type; its shape is similar to its name, like a “boat”. When transporting the trapped persons, the trapped persons are placed in the stretcher, and the “protruding” edges of the stretcher around the stretcher cooperate with the webbing on the front to “enclose” the trapped persons inside the stretcher. In this way, the trapped person will not be released from the stretcher due to the displacement of the stretcher (such as flipping, shaking). Behind the security, there are also some hidden dangers. If the trapped person is too fat, and the sling tied to the front of the person is too tight and the operation time is too long, it is easy to cause chest tightness and suffocation of the trapped person. The North American fire industry refers to the situation where the trapped people die in the basket stretcher due to improper handling as “iron coffin” (the early basket stretchers were mostly aluminum alloys).

Also known as a “multi-purpose stretcher” (Sked), it is similar in use to a basket stretcher, but is lighter (8 to 12 kg) and can be rolled up in a roller or carried in a backpack. Its raw material is special synthetic resin, which has corrosion resistance and is generally orange. Most of the roll stretchers on the mainland market are similar products from Jiangsu and Zhejiang imitating Japan and South Korea. In the North American firefighting community, the behavior of trapped people being killed inside a roll stretcher due to improper operation of rescuers is called “shroud” (early roll stretchers were mostly made of high-strength canvas).
6. The basic size of the rescue stretcher:
The bed surface of the stretcher can be adjusted forward or backward according to the actual operation requirements. The backrest of the bed is supported by a lockable pneumatic spring, which can be adjusted steplessly within the range of 0-60 degrees. Equipped with front and rear fixing frames, the stretcher can be locked by installing the stretcher cart on the ambulance in a proper position.
